Strojírny Èelákovice offers a wide range of instruments for the complete precision measuring of gear wheels. We offer both range of instruments of our own design and production and also instruments after complete modernization of classic measuring instruments. In range of modernization we specialize particularly in instruments of the MAAG company especifically:

PH 60 CNC

an instrument created by complete modernization from the classic instrument PH 60 of MAAG. The original instrument was determined only for the measuring of deviations of involute and lead, with classic scanning and evaluation. After modernization the instrument is able to measure deviations of pitch, involute, lead and radial run-out.

SP 60 CNC

an instrument created by complete modernization from the classic instrument SP 60 of MAAG. The original instrument was determined only for the measuring of deviations of involute and lead, with classic scanning and evaluation. After modernization the instrument is able to measure deviations of pitch, involute, lead and radial run-out.

PH 100 CNC

an instrument created by complete modernization from the classic instrument PH 100 of MAAG. The original instrument was determined only for the measuring of deviations of involute and lead, with classic scanning and evaluation. After modernization the instrument is able to measure deviations of pitch, involute, lead and radial run-out.

The principal of pitch deviations testing

Testing is based on basic involute equations, resp. valid relations for flank rolling of involute profile. In distinction from present competitive instruments, there is not used so-called contact way, where the tooth profile is scanned point by point, but the whole tooth profile is scanned a linked way in a radial and axes direction. The scanned profile is saved into computer, memory and there is consequently carried out an evaluation of gear wheel accuracy by special calculating methods. Calculation of separate deviations is carried out from a mutual connection between axial, resp. radial shifting of a testing probe and by turning of a tested gear.

Program equipment

The control program is made and written under the Borland C++ in WINDOWS´95 including all standards and usage valid for WINDOWS´95. The instrument activity is controlled by symbols.

The main controlling program in the basic execution makes possible:

  • controlling program is modified for using in usual work shop or for machine operator
  • scanning of involute form of tooth, scanning of tooth surface in axial direction
  • by means of a special processing to count deviations of pitch, tooth form profile, tooth inclination and radial run-out,
  • setting-up in metric (mm) or inches (2 ) dimension
  • setting-up of angle measure in basic form (XX° XX´ XX?) or in decimal form (XX,XXX° )
  • measuring of gearing:
  • modular gearing
  • DP gearing
  • CP gearing
  • execute calibration of measuring instrument and positioning of reference point for measuring in automatic cycle
  • parameters of measured gear display again from databank incl. graphs measuring
  • in the course of measuring select tooth or tooth space measuring
  • assimilate measuring with adjust different parameters in accordance with customer wish:
  • measuring of inclination tooth:
  • number of measuring tooth eligible (1 - 4)
  • it is possible measure left or right tooth flank or both tooth flanks
  • evaluation: Standard, Barrel
  • measuring of tooth form (profile)
  • number of measuring tooth eligible (1 - 4)
  • t is possible measure left or right tooth flank or both tooth flanks
  • evaluation: Standard, Barrel
  • measuring of pitch and radial run-out incl. run-out of root diameter
  • possibility measuring of root diameter
  • across teeth dimension (min/max)
  • across balls dimension (min/max)
  • choice of speed and sensitivity of measuring
  • at evaluation choice standard ESN, DIN, ISO, AGMA It is possible to direct setting-up deviations in m m instead of class accuracy

  • The program make possible display toleration and regulation limit by means of color light

      • red - out of the tolerance limit
      • yellow - out of the regulation limit
      • green - OK - satisfactory

This evaluation is valid for all deviations and serve for quick orientation of operator

  • The program has possibility block individual functions for entry for prevention of damage
  • To display the measured deviations on monitor
  • To display graphic individual measuring test results on monitor

  • deviation of individual tooth pitch (left or right flank)
  • deviation of adjacent tooth pitch (left or right flank)

  • Setting-up print of protocol in the different size - black and white or color
  • Save the results into databank with a possibility to display again tested values and graphs at any later time incl. reservation measured values on special medium
  • Output and saving the results in a form suitable for further processing by program SPC for quality control according to the ISO 9000 (special accessories)

Tested deviations

The instruments model MAAG are determined for testing of gearing deviations so that during evaluation it is possible to choose classification according to original ESN 01 4682, DIN 3962, ISO or AGMA standards - resp. company standards.

Before beginning of testing you can choose accuracy of class tested gear. According to the chosen value the gear is tested, overcrossing is recorded by marked printing.

As concern the form of gearing it is possible to measure spur gears, internal gears, including longitudinal and modification of gearing. In a special execution it is possible to measure shaping cutters, hobs and involute grooving.

In standard execution is instrument delivered for measuring of spur gears clamped on conical clamping arbor with expanding bushes in combination with support stand for clamping into centres.

In standard execution is instrument delivered for measuring of spur gears clamped on conical clamping arbor with expanding bushes in combination with support stand for clamping into centres.

Repeated measuring accuracy 0,001 mm
Max. weight of measured gear 500 kg

In standard execution is instrument delivered for measuring of spur gears clamped on conical clamping arbor with expanding bushes in combination with support stand for clamping into centres.
